We're looking for an outstanding individual with experience developing Java GUI applications using Swing and NetBeans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, AWT, Swing and experience in developing plug-ins for NetBeans framework.

You will be responsible for:

• Designing and Building desktop Java applications as part of the overall tool set
• Build software components that follow industry-standard design patterns, development methodologies and deployment models.
• Develop and enhance products based on NetBeans framework.
• Work closely with software architects, product specialists and documentation writers to build quality software.

Required Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in design and development of Java Swing based applications
• 2+ years in development of plug-ins on NetBeans platform
• 1+ years in relational database and SQL (MS-SQL, MySQL, Oracle or DB2)
• 1+ years in object-oriented analysis and design with UML
• 1+ years in requirement gathering
• 1+ years in use case analysis
• 1+ years with iterative development, RUP and/or eXtreme Programming
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong interpersonal, and customer interface skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment

Desired Experience:

• Experience in C++, C# or Smalltalk
• Experience in XML, SOAP, Web services, and SOA
• Experience with Linux or UNIX
